Meet the Chef…
While he was born in the Midwest, Chef Gene spent most of his life on the West Coast of California. After attending culinary school to pursue his love of cooking, he had the privilege of working in fine dining restaurants as well as owning his own catering business. For many years, Chef Gene grew accustomed to cooking the West Coast way by using lots of spices to hide the real flavor of food.
It wasn’t until later in life that he returned back to his roots in Kansas to spend time with his Aunt and Uncle. It was then that Chef Gene fell in love with the basicsĀ of life, the simple taste of food, and the love of family.
I want to bring the warmth and joy of Midwest cooking back to dining tables all across our beautiful country.
